Charity music group get lottery grant

Congratulations to Elms. ELMS (Entertainment Live Music & Singing)

The popular group was formed about a year ago to provide fun music sessions for health and wellbeing, to  groups for the elderly, dementia suffers, carers and people with cerebral palsy and other community groups.

The sessions consist of sing a long songs, fun interactive songs, use of percussion instruments and other music based activities.

Although the sessions have become very  popular and successful, they have been struggling to afford to keep funding them. They recently applied for National Lottery funding and are delighted to say they have been successful in being awarded a Big Lottery Grant to cover the expenses for the next twelve months, which will enable them to reach more of the community.
