Bearwood's renowned mosaic artist Caroline Jariwala currently has an exhibition of her work at Winterbourne House in Edgbaston.
Caroline has built up an international reputation in recent years, and contributed one of the most effective Birmingham 'Owls' last year as part of their 'owl trail'.
Caroline's solo exhibition can be seen in the Coach House gallery at the splendid Winterbourne House and Gardens, Edgbaston Park Road, Birmingham. Her mosaic-making with rejected and discarded 70s crockery brings about a rich source of ideas, coupled with her eccentric, quirky sense of humour! Caroline's solo exhibition is inspired amongst other things by the patterns within flora and fauna from Winterbourne Gardens' horticultural collection.
The exhibition continues until 27th September, between 10.am and 5.pm and Caroline is there much of the time so you may get the opportunity to chat to her about the works.
