Via Enjoy Bearwood… we are told that the top of the bill on the main stage on Mayday in Lightwoods Park are a band who recorded one of the biggest hits ever to come out of Birmingham.
Musical Youth's 'Pass the Dutchie' (which as we all know was errm, a cooking pot!) sold over 4 million copies worldwide and the band will be strutting their stuff to close the show from around 5.25pm.
So, that's 10 acts on the main stage, a fun fair, a real ale (and cider) festival, a children's entertainment park, craft stalls, Sandwell's Strongest Man, community stalls, a tremendous set of events (plus music) on the skatepark, a variety of music on the bandstand, food stalls galore, and much much more!
Six hours of fabulous fun, and what's more, it's free!
Be there!
