About the event
Bearwood Youth Board are now based at Thimblemill Library. The group meets every Monday 6pm – 8pm (next meeting 28th October) and its totally free to Join and attend.
The group aims to give Young People a voice within the Bearwood area of Smethwick. The group aim to be involved in shaping and developing of services for young people and ensuring young peoples needs are met.
We will also address other issues like drug and alcohol misuse, anti-social behaviour, positive images of young people, something to do and somewhere to go, crime, anti-bullying, and any other issue that may have an effect on young peoples lives.
We also have fun and have a full activity programme that includes team building, skill development, offsite activities, involvement in Library activities and lots more.
Any young person aged 11 – 19 is more than welcome to come along and join in. All our fully trained Youth Workers are very welcoming and look forward to meeting new young people. Thimblemill Library is on Thimblemill Road, Smethwick, B67 5RJ.
