City Centre tunnel closure

Some of you may remember the information posted on the Bearwood Blog a couple of months ago about the closure of the Birmingham City Centre tunnels over the summer.

Well, now the City Council has set up a website with the latest information, together with suggestions about other routes you may want to consider or other forms of transport available.

You can access the website here: Brumtunnels

With the major project due to commence on the Kings Head junction improvements in June (or so we are promised) it looks like it might be a good time to dust down the bike, (or nip in to iCycle and see what they've got to offer) and head off to Smethwick to take a relaxing traffic-free trip into Brum on the canal towpath.
