Local indie band Holocene have been revealed as one of the star attractions on the music stage at the Mayday event in Lightwoods Park. The Enjoy Bearwood page has announced that the band, who went down a storm at the Picnic in the Park in Warley Woods last year, will be appearing and performing some of the songs they are rehearsing for a forthcoming album.

Holocene Lead singer Bish Davies said, “We're really looking forward to this. We were nervous before the gig in Warley Woods, but as soon as we got underway and saw the great response from the audience, that soon disappeared and we all enjoyed it.”
