Going Dutch

Regulars at Bearwood Jazz will know all about next week’s guest at Corks in Bearwood. Dutch Lewis is a quite brilliant and amazingly versatile saxophone player, and in the last months of Andy Hamilton’s life he helped to keep Andy’s band The Bluenotes together.

Dutch hasn’t been back to Corks since Andy’s passing, so it is great news to hear that he will be back next Thursday, and on another couple of occasions before the club is re-invented as The Silvershine Club next month.

Why not pop along and see a real jazz trooper strutting his stuff!
