Farlands Games are holding Board Games nights at the Thimblemill Pub, from 7.30pm on Thursday nights. David Dunne from Farlands says,
We only charge £2 for entry, but we also supply a good mix of games, from classics like Monopoly and Scrabble, right the way up to the best games that many people may not of heard of, such as Talisman and Railways of the World. We want to bring board gaming back into the light, to get people away from the TV and computers, and into being social again, playing games face to face.
There is something for everybody, and we encourage people to also bring their own games and find some new people to play with.
They also sell games on Thursday night, with discounts ranging from anything up to 30% off the normal retail price. For more information you can check out their blogsite at Farlands Games or on Facebook here, where you can also see their special offers.
