The police are searching for a missing boy, Kyle Hall, aged 10.

Kyle, from Gilbert Road, Smethwick, was reported missing by his mother last night and there is a major police search underway. He is known to visit the Bearwood area.

He is described as 5ft (1.5m) tall and of medium build. He has very short hair with a pattern shaved into it.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing dark blue jeans, black trainers and a grey hooded top.

UPDATE: Panic over. The police have reported Kyle has been found and he is safe.
