Tomorrow (Friday) sees the birthday celebration of one of Bearwood’s great institutions. Thimblemill Library is celebrating it’s 75th birthday!
There are a number of activities being organised by the wonderful Julie McKirdy and her staff to commemorate the occasion, including a visit from the Mayor of Sandwell, a talk by local historian David Yates (11.30am) and some children’s entertainment between 4-5pm. So, feel free to drop in and have a cup of coffee and a cake, and wish the library a happy birthday.
