Plans are well developed to move a gardening project in to Lightwoods Park which should provide future planting for the park, as well as plants which we can use in Bearwood in Bloom.

Bob, why is the project leaving Red House Park? Are the people who are working there going to be transferred to Lightwoods Park or will they lose the opportunity to work at the project when it moves?
The Red House is being sold, Kate. As far as I know the project is moving and I would expect the workers to move with it.
What an excellent project! Plants and flowers will brighten the area.
Could the containers used for Bearwood In Bloom be kept up all the year round by using autumn/winter shrubs and flowers?
That’s the plan, Diane. It is a question of cost, and whatever sponsorship we can acquire from local traders and other fundraising.
Kate~ Diane
Bob is correct ~ as always
